Moving the French Open

The French Open could be forced into a "heartbreaking" move away from Paris in the next few years due to problems with the infrastructure at Roland Garros.

Organisers have long considered ways of extending the current stadia but these have stalled because of opposition from the public and environmentalists.

BBC Sport - Tennis - French Open could move away from Roland Garros in Paris

Interesting to see whether the major tennis tournament ends up relocating due to public and environmental factors. It seems there is a growing conflict everywhere between the need for growth and the environment. I don't think blocking growth that creates new jobs is a good idea, especially when it is done in a way that takes environmental concerns into account.

How to Fight Corruption
